Tour the old railroad express building and yard office with its refurbished cabooses and engines. Gift shop. Handicapped accessible. Group tours welcome. Railroad Days 3rd week of August each year as a part of Oelwein's Heritage Days.

View a furnished country school room, parlor, bedroom and kitchen. Other displays include farm equipment, railroad memorabilia, newspaper clippings, a general store, a medical area and an extensive Delft collection.

Handicapped accessible. Group tours welcome. Fee. Open 1:00-4:00 every Sunday June to September, or anytime by appointment.

Oelwein was named "Hub City" because of the rail lines coming into town and the repair shops located there.
